Originally developed as the Authentic Relating training, our flagship program teaches compassionate communication, conflict transformation and collaboration strategies. This course is designed to provide you with the mentoring skills and tools and to improve your work relationships at all levels.

Authentic leaders are excellent communicators. In this programme, participants will experience a very personal journey, allowing them to first consider their own communication style, personal resilience and emotional intelligence.

You will then learn how to support their team by getting hands-on experience in using a number of different communication strategies to pass along their values, inspire their teams, listen actively, give clear instructions, both give and receive feedback and transform conflict into mindful negotiation.

This programme includes authentic communication, conflict transformation and mindful negotiation and is delivered by specialists in the field of authentic communication and resilience including lawyers, psychologists and zen practitioners.

We apply cutting edge social technology (authentic relating games), resilience practice (guided mindfulness and emotional aikido exercises) and take input from the world of neuroscience (nervous system training).

Online and in-person live training

Online sessions: 12 hours total, delivered in weekly 2-hour modules

Live sessions:  2 days in person (6 hours per day)

Blended: 2 days in person, three 2-hour follow-up webinars

Week 1 - Build a Strong Foundation

Week 4 - Set up Context

Level-up your context setting competency and establish clearly expressed agreements attracting inspired, committed and highly dedicated teams.   Elevate your negotiation strategies with our rules of Authentic Leadership to create successful, long-lasting supportive relationships.

Week 2 - Master the Art of Conversation

Discover the 5 practices of Authentic Communication and 3 levels of Engagement as your foundation for self-development to cultivate trustable, empowering and nourishing relationships. 

Week 5 - Feedback with Compassion 

Adopt an Authentic Communication mindset and gain mastery of the relational feedback process.  Learn to create psychological safety to foster honest and vulnerable conversations in your personal and professional relationships. 

Week 3 - Embody Mindful Communication 

Discover the 5 practices of Authentic Communication and 3 levels of Engagement as your foundation for self-development to cultivate trustable, empowering and nourishing relationships. 

Week 6 - Transform Conflict

Tap into the nervous-system training to ease tension, manage discomfort, solve problems and express withheld information.  Unravel differences in opinions and transform conflicting energies into vitality and creative problem solving.
